Chess Set Don Quijote / Juego de Ajedrez Don Quijote

Recently has been released a chess game based on Don Quijote and fully designed by me. The chess was a interesting project commissioned by Ibersoni S. L. that keeps me working for a time during 2007 and part of 2008. It was finished a great while ago, but due to some delays in the process, couldn't be released till now.
For this project I did a complete design of characters of each one of the pieces, chessboard and full packaging. The set contains 16 pieces for each player, as following:
- King: Don Quijote
- Queen: Dulcinea
- Rook: Windmill
- Knight: Miguel de Cervantes
- Bishop: Abbot
- Paws: Sancho Panza
The chessboard is hold by windmills in each one of its corners, that you can take off if you want. The complete set is available for sale by the hand of Ibersoni S. L. and will be available too in merchandisign stores and Amazon.

Hace poco ha salido a la venta un juego de ajedrez basado en Don Quijote totalmente diseñado por mí. Este ajedrez fue un interesante proyecto encargado por Ibersoni S. L. que me mantuvo ocupada mucho tiempo durante el año 2007 y parte del 2008. Aunque el trabajo de diseño finalizó hace ya mucho tiempo, algunos retrasos en el proceso han impedido que saliera a la venta hasta este momento.
Para este proyecto realicé un diseño completo de personajes para cada una de las piezas, diseño de tablero y packgaging completo. El set contiene 16 piezas para cada jugador, dispuestas de esta manera:
- Rey: Don Quijote

- Reina: Dulcinea
- Torre: Molino de viento
- Caballo: Miguel de Cervantes
- Alfil: Abad
- Peones: Sancho Panza
El tablero se sostiene por cuatro molinos de viento, uno en cada esquina, que pueden retirarse sin problema. El set completo está disponible a la venta de la mano de Ibersoni S. L. y estará también disponible en Amazon y en tiendas especializadas.

XFUNS magazine

This month of june my work was featured in XFUNS magazine issue 42 from Taiwan. The magazine showcases an interview with several images, both in english and taiwanese. I had the great honour of share pages in this issue with some great artists such as Soa Lee, Michael Kutsche, Pascal Blanché, Natalie Shau and Gerald Brom between others. A highly recommend issue. Este mes de junio ha salido publicada una entrevista y varias imágenes en la revista XFUNS magazine nº 42, de Taiwan. La revista es bilingüe, en inglés y taiwanés.
